All Are Welcome
When you visit St. Martin's for the first time, we will welcome you warmly and include you in our worship. Whether you are visiting us from out-of-town, have recently moved to the Greater New Bedford area, or if you are searching for a new church home, we want you to feel comfortable and welcome. Our primary mission is to present St. Martin's as a place where anyone is welcome who wants to worship God with us and feel the friendliness that we try to show to new acquaintances.
If you are looking for a feeling of being part of a family, this is the place to be. You are loved by God more than you will ever know! If you are in search of a spiritual home and are looking for a church that will embrace you unconditionally, come by St. Martin's Episcopal Church in New Bedford.
What to Expect
Our worship service consists of hymns, prayers, three readings from Scripture, and Holy Communion. Anyone who seeks a deeper relationship with God in Christ is welcome to receive Communion with us. All who seek a loving embrace from God, are welcome and encouraged to receive Communion, including children of any age. Everyone is welcome to come to the altar rail to receive a blessing, regardless of their way of life or what has evolved with them over the past years.
No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, regardless of your race, creed, gender, sexual orientation, or life story - all are welcome at God's table!
